Providing & fixing 2-HR FIRE RATED Hollow Metal Pressed Steel Door of
Duty SEHGAL DOORS or equivalent hollow metal fire rated doors as per IS 3614: 2021, for 120min integrity & 30min. insulation. Pressed galvanized steel confirming to IS 277 with the following specification. Recommended fire door shall be tested as per IS/ISO 3008-1 & IS/ ISO 834-1, from Exova/NABL/CBRI approved lab. Labled fire doors shall be with fire rated hardware and vision panel all as a complete assembly. Proper label confirming the type of door and the hourly rating is mandatory. Contractor to submit fabrication drawing of door to Consultant / Owner for approval prior to start of fabrication of the doors. The Doors should be finished in Thermo setting Powder Coating desired RAL Shades and Coating primer with VOC Content for Flat: <50g/l, non flat: < 150 g/l.
Door frame shall be step rebate grooved profile of size 125 x 75mm made out of 1.20mm (18gauge) minimum thick galvanized steel sheet. Frames shall be mitered and field assembled with self tabs. Frames to have inbuild grooved sealing system for taking fire rated seals. All provision should be mortised, drilled and tapped for receiving appropriate hardware. Frames should be provided with back plate bracket and anchor fasteners for installation on a finished plastered masonry wall opening.
Door leaf shall be 60mm thick fully flush double skin step design door, insulated with vision panel. Door leaf shall be manufactured from 1.2mm (18guage) minimum thick galvanised steel sheet. The internal construction of the door should be rigid reinforcement pads for receiving appropriate hardware. The infill material shall be 120kg high density mineral wool insulation material. Intumescent seals 15 x 4mm to be provided. All doors shall be factory prepped for receiving appropriate hardware and provided with necessary reinforcement for hinges, locks, and door closers. The edges should be interlocked with a bending radius of 1.4mm. For pair of doors integrated astragals has to be provided on the meeting stile for both active and inactive leaf. For doors above 2.1m height atleast 5 hinges shall be provided
Vision Panel – Vision panel shall be provided for 6mm clear borosilicate fire rated glass as per manufacturers recommendation with a clipon arrangement. Schott or Saint gobain Fire Rated Clear Glass up to two hours fire rating. Size- 200mmX300mm
